Pre-Race Poetry. (Belated)

Although I did not get to officially post a traditional pre-race poem before I ran the Philadelphia Marathon, rest assured I composed said poetry prior to running....or traveling. Please enjoy:

The Philadelphia Marathon.

A Haiku:

Eye of the Tiger...
First marathon in two years.
Bebe will be there.


A Limerick:

I am running the marathon, Philly.
The weather, it may be quite chilly!
As I fly down the street
To T.Swift's Sick. Beat.,
I hope I will not look too silly.
